Took me a while to get around to this, but it had to be done. Thanks as always for your support guys :)

AMAZING
So I happened to see this:

And I was like:

because this is really exciting to me. Here’s why:
I’m still very much a newbie / casual player when it comes to tabletop gaming, but, gosh, I love Tabletop. Not only is it fun to watch and generally a great quality web series, but it celebrates something traditionally seen as “nerdy” in a genuine, accessible way. (I talked about this in my submission to “As Seen on Tabletop.”) In other words, it celebrates and mainstreams a niche fandom. So, even if you have no interest in tabletop gaming (which is fine!), you’re probably a fan of something and enjoy connecting with other awesome people over your shared love (see: Tumblr.) Tabletop is just another great example of how celebrating fandom can bring people together. The fact that it’s well-produced and on a medium that is more in mainstream popular culture only gives the celebration of fandom more legitimacy.
TL;DR: Tabletop is awesome because it celebrates fandom, connects people. Hopefully that made sense.
Once upon a time, Wil Wheaton posted Gates’ / 1/8th’s Tumblr (link, but seriously, if you’re actually reading this, you’re probably already following it) to Reddit. It got much love and made me happy.
Also, does this mean that Gates knows/does Twitter, Tumblr, and Reddit?! Coolest [space] mom ever. My mom is of the same generation and doesn’t even have a cell phone (which, I have to admit, is adorable in itself, but not very “cool.”)

Our flight home from Seattle was delayed because they couldn’t find the pilot. I guess this would…

Lil’ Wil needs to meet 1/8-th Gates. Yes, I can see it now: They can have a marathon charity staring contest. Crusher puns will inevitably ensue, but money will be raised to support independent theater and media productions, so all will be well.
So I was sleuthing for a certain image and I ran across these gems of the Wheatons and I just felt that the internet needed to be reminded of them. I mean, matching shoes?! Amazing.
I got silly when making GIFs for “Family.”
